This painting has been in the works for about a year and a half, but it is finally done… another painting for my series based on my stay at Barnegat Light, in the New Jersey shore. The last shot in this set shows my photography setup for shooting canvases (using polarizing filters to control glare).

That time I got to present @carlemuseum for the What's Your Favorite Color book launch event and stand in front of an enormous Eric Carle painting with the some of the finest artists (also in the book) in children's literature: Étienne Delessert @delartforever, @Mike Curato, myself and Rafael Lopez @rafael_l61.

Eric Carle's art fills the entire museum with light and color and his books have created generations of readers and lovers of nature. It a privilege to look back on this day. I hope you can get there one day!
